Jocelyn King
Chairperson, First Australians Capital (FAC)
Jocelyn King is a Bundjalung woman working where culture, Country and capital meet. Born on Gadigal Country and raised across Western Sydney and the Hunter Valley, she came to deeper cultural learning in her early 20s through local Elders, and has been learning on and with Country at Wollombi for more than 20 years.
Jocelyn is the founding CEO and shared leader at First Australians Capital (FAC), supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs to remove barriers to capital and build businesses that strengthen community, celebrate culture and care for Country. She’s driven by a “pay-it-forward” approach to investment—shifting power and decision-making back to mob, and growing economic systems that return benefits culturally and environmentally, not just financially.
