Jessica Carmody is a proud Bidjara woman with extensive experience across Aboriginal community development, business leadership, and social impact. She has built a strong reputation for turning ideas into practical outcomes that benefit communities, with a focus on strengthening Aboriginal businesses and community organisations to support economic development and create pathways for Aboriginal people to lead systemic change.

Jessica has played a pivotal leadership role in the operations and growth of King’s Narrative, an award-winning Aboriginal Business dedicated to supporting Aboriginal men to be the authors of their own stories. The organisation focuses on health, wellbeing, leadership, and economic development while centring culture and Aboriginal ways of knowing and being.

Grounded in a strengths-based approach, Jessica is passionate about creating opportunities for Aboriginal people to lead change in their own communities.

As a mother of five boys, she is motivated by the future she wants to help create — one where Aboriginal people lead solutions, shape policy, and build intergenerational prosperity for their communities.
