Aimee Hadrup
Manager Tamariki Wellbeing, The Southern Initiative
Aimee leads the Tamariki Wellbeing team at The Southern Initiative, a place-based innovation team working to disrupt social and economic inequity for South Auckland.
Together with the Auckland Co-design Lab, her team works alongside families, whānau, community organisations, iwi, philanthropy, academia and local and central government to better understand what it takes to improve child wellbeing and break cycles of intergenerational disadvantage — starting with the critical first 2,000 days.
Aimee has a background in public health, was a Harkness Fellow in 2023 and is currently a PhD candidate exploring the value of place-based approaches to commissioning in complex systems.
